Greyhounds, by virtue of being nearly all muscle and hardly any body fat, don't swim too well and
the cold can get to them very quickly. So they are best kept away from stretches of cold open
water, especially fast flowing. Peggy was only allowed in on an extending lead. But, just like
with children, I think it is important that they know that swimming is possible and
not such a scary thing if they do find themselves in water.
