This landscape needs to be seen at large size so that its authentic scale can be visualised ... you might be able to pick out the man walking with his dog in the middle right.
At this time of year before the spring vegetation grows up, the moor takes on a dryish and bleak look which people in other upland parts of the world will think is nothing special, but within a few short weeks that bleakness will be replaced by a greening which to us still looks bleak, but to others looks quite verdant.
