School's a drag

The poor bloody kids around here have had these wretched schoolbags inflicted on them all year. We used to wear our bags on our backs and run home from school, both hands free for all kinds of fun and mischief. These poor wee devils trudge home with their spines twisted and the bags dragging back, the wee small wheels rumbling and bouncing away.

I tinted the pic to reflect the way it makes me feel.

The tinting is really effective.

When I was in school we carried one or two books home to do a small amount of homework. Now the schools are so busy "teaching" social ideology they have to do the reading, writing, and rithmatic at home! Plus, the students pay for books now, so they are larger (and more expensive of course).

For us oldsters those bags relieve the shoulders a bit. But kids are tough. Let them carry them :)

Standard schoolbag or their own choice?
