I have been using a Gary Fong Light Sphere flash diffuser for a while. I got to experimenting this evening and found that it really does rob a lot of flash, as you might imagine. I will continue working with it to see how to really use it.

I am discovering that there are a lot of trade-offs using on camera flash. One thing is that if you crank up the power, it eats batteries like tacos. It also takes a while to recycle. Lots to learn.

Robbing flash is only a misdemeanor. My Nikon does not east tacos, but it eats sushi.
