I wandered out into the field at sunset to ride around with Donny in the combine. It actually takes quite a bit of skill and experience to operate it. Anyway, it was fun to see the thing in operation. This is a shot of the combine puking forth money. Paul makes his money in just two months. The rest of the year he only spends it.
Actually, there is no need for a GPS. All you gotta do is follow the windrows. The dome covers the tank which means you can fill it to heaping and not have the wind blow the seed away. That means you can go longer between dumps.
Paul has a nice make/spend ratio---and I'm glad that the weather is now supporting it! Why does the combine have such a big GPS dome on top? (Not why does it have a GPS dome at all, which would be a stupid question).
