Here in North Plains it is pretty darn hot. I am told by the natives that prolonged heat above 90 F is unusual. This is the third day, with no end in sight. But it is a dry heat, which means it isn't as unbearable as a wet heat, I suppose.
I've experienced both types of heat and firmly believe that dry heat is much more tolerable. The sweating one does in wet heat is dreadful; I hate the feel of wet clothing.
