It was a beautiful sunny day, so I set out in the Cessna 170 to see what I could see. This is a photo of the Kemah waterfront. I ended up at Baytown to buy gas and darn near got stranded. I wore down the battery trying to start. I think I need a new battery. Anyway, I tied the tail down and tried to hand prop it. That didn't work so well, so I looked around for someone to give me a jump start. The place was vacant. You might expect that on a Sunday morning. I was resigned to calling Ginny for help when I decided to give it one more try. And by golly, it started. I am definitely going to get a new battery!
