We spent some time today moving stuff out of the storage container and into the living room. We got about half of it moved. Tomorrow we will finish that movement. Ginny really has her work cut out for her since she is the sole arbiter on what stays and what goes. Our good friends Bill and Maria sent some nice flowers and Ginny decided to clear out the boxes in the kitchen and get some photos. This is what it looks like. Everything is new except the dishwasher. The dishwasher worked so well that we just couldn't part with it and risk an upgrade. Ginny did all the design work. Melinda was very helpful. The result is terrific. I am looking forward to lots of cooking in there. Even though the dimensions didn't change, it feels a little bit bigger. One improvement was installation of a drawer microwave. That gave us back a bunch of counter space. The two ovens are both conventional and convection. Looks like some experimentation is going to be in order. I have never used a convection oven. I made some baked potatoes for lunch, but that is hardly a challenge. I am thinking some ribs might be a good test.
