I decided to go down to Kemah again this morning before dawn to see what I could find. I got interested in how the roller coaster was illuminated from the inside, but there was no real good place to get a shot. I drove around later and found that the top of the parking garage might work. Will try that next time. I started taking pictures of the sunrise, but the clouds came in, so I gave up. After driving around for a while I headed up over the bridge and SHAZAM, there was a gorgeous late sunrise going on. I headed to the water as quick as I could all the while looking for something to include in the foreground (sunrises are pretty, but it pays to have other elements). So here I was in position to try a bunch of shots with these pilings and pelicans.
