I went to another IA Refresher seminar today over at Sugar Land airport. It was interesting and there was a free fajita lunch. Such a deal! Anyway, the talks were pretty interesting. The last couple hours were FAA presentations. In our sircraft maintenance biz, there are a lot of government-isms. OTwo examples are Approved data and Acceptable data. I have honestly never understood the difference despite years of asking the feds to explain it. Same thing today. I continue to be dazed and confused. When they showed this slide, I started writing furiously to get it all down. The fellow next to me whipped out an iPhone and photographed it. So I whipped out my G-1X and did the same.
