We had planned to fly a three ship out to Anahuac for a hundred dollar hamburger. As I was pushing the Cessna out, something caught my eye on the tail wheel assembly. I cleaned the grease off, and sure enough there was a crack. That grounded the airplane. So, I am ordering parts for the repair. All it takes is money to keep them flying. A little bit of work as well. This is another easy repair. We still went to Anahuac, but I was a passenger in the Cherokee.

good preflight...it would have been an interesting tailwheel landing

was this the original tail wheel? Just curious as to the life expectancy of this piece....
