Here we are on the beach in Fiji on the first day of our five week trip to Fiji, New Zealand and Australia. Your correspondent is going to be somewhat sporadic because internet connections down here are either (1) slow or (2) outrageously expensive. At this point we are a little over 2 weeks into the trip and are having a great time. I am writing from Hobart, Tasmania. The beer here sucks but the wine is good. The great thing is that all the Australian wine is in screw cap bottles. Even the high dollar stuff. I was concerned when we left because I left the cork screw behind.
