It was clear here today so I decided to head up to the Astoria Column to see what I could see. Unfortunately, clear does not mean good visibility. Anyway, here is what I saw. Way off in the distance is Cape Disappointment. That is where Clark ended his outbound traverses. From there the party found its way to the southern shore of the river and built Fort Clatsop.
