This is a collection of wildflowers was found right outside my front door, in the below average wildflower year of 2006. No attempt has been made to compile a complete list of the wildflowers found in the area -- there are many more. The fun and challenge was/is to find, and attempt to identify, the flowers growing in one small pasture. I'm no flower expert. Using two field guides, I've done the best I could to assign the proper names to the photos, but occasionally I simply had to guess. So, by no means, should you consider the names as authoritative. I hope you enjoy your visit to Central Texas in the spring.
