Navy Ships

These were scanned from a deck of twenty cards marked "Genuine Photographs, U. S. Ships" Each card measures 1-11/16" by 2-11/16". The photographs are printed on what looks like RC paper and appear to be toned. The entire deck is enclosed in a heavy paper envelope that is marked like a postcard with a place for a stamp and a "FROM" and "TO" address. My father mailed this set to his younger brother I presume around late 1942 or early 1943. The envelope has the name and address and a remnant of the postage stamp with the postal cancel.
