Tsar Nicholas II in discussion with Igor Sikorsky on the balcony of the Bolshoi Baltisky (Great Baltic) normally referred to as the Grand
At that time the Grand was the world's largest aircraft, 27.3 metre wingspan with four engines, after 53 successful flights the aircraft was destroyed after being struck by an engine that had fallen off another aircraft that was flying overhead while the Grand was parked on the ground.
