Make Love, not war.

Toitū Otago Settlers Museum.

Today, Monday 4 August 2014 marks the centenary of New Zealand's entry into World War One.
Supposedly the war to end all wars.

This is in Dunedin's Great War Exhibition in Toitū Otago Settlers Museum.

Great vintage design and colors. A wonderful tribute to that tragic era. V.

An interesting patriotic display with these flags. Certainly idealized as David points out with the soldier without a helmet and the sailor without shoes. My grandfather took part in this horrible war in the Bavarian army and was never the same afterward.

well worth saluting the brave troops, somewhat idealized here, who had to endure the long, ugly struggle..so many died in WW1, yet unfortunately we are still killing each other all over the planet..
