Inefficient local council.

There is room for a lot more signs on this post.
London is "flooded" with billions of signs on posts, and walls and even painted on the floor.
A very large proportion of them are totally unnecessary.
PS, the road did NOT flood on the 22nd.

These times are the most cost effective, you can be fined heavily by a low paid council employee and the council makes a huge profit. Once they have to start paying overtime, profits drop.

Why is it that all messages displayed here apply only from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Monday through Friday) and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday? How far is it to Richmond or Teddington at times other than the quoted hours? That the local council is able to specify the hours of applicability seems to imply a very efficient operation. Is it all a ruse?

Stupid computer, never types the right letters when you want it to,that should of course read "contact a good seer".

I'll put in a good word for you"1moremile".in connection with your dream of signage in later life,Hopelessly optimistic.Sorry, that's two words, take the second one/two as a bonus. If you need any further signs, contact a good beer.

Larry, it will be easier for you to get a place in the Royal Family than to get in to the multi billion pound sign making business.

When I retire I will get a sign-making job in the flourishing industry there. Will you put in a good word for me?

But it probably kept most people from parking there, allowing the bureaucrat who arranged the sign and his friends plenty of parking room. It always seems these sorts of signs spring up whenever parking is going to be most wanted.

Larry, these people are in front of you here. Note the words "flooding expected".It never says it will happen. It never says who is expecting the flood. Could be a groundhog (whatever that is) expecting a flood. Just another excuse to waste our hard earned money on another useless sign.
Imagine the cost of this one sign, some one is paid to think of it, some one is paid to order it, some one is paid to make it, some one is paid to deliver it, some one is paid to put it up, some one is paid to remove it (eventually), some one is paid to dispose of it. A huge amount of money is spent on recycling centres, for signs like this.
Then it is recycled into a new useless sign.

I would sue their pants off for prophesying the flood that never happened.
