Health reasons are obligatory for bicycle sporting, I think

A simultaneous infinity, something else Albert missed.
Dave Beedon20-Aug-2006 23:48
It depends on the time zone you're in. In the Pacific Time Zone, where I am, both conditions apply simultaneously.

Dave,
Is this the potential infinity that is allowed by letting an infinitely-large quantity be cancelled out by an infinitely-small quantity.
Or is it the other one ?
Dave Beedon20-Aug-2006 17:48
I started to comment on the lack of mudguard but infinity got in the way.

Larry,
For some incomprehensible reason, very few cyclists have mudguards (fenders)on their cycles. Every cyclist you see in the rain has a streak of water and dirt up their back.
The front gets a bit messy as this dirty spray hits the frame and splashes out sideways making sure your legs are filthy. Considering that normally we have a fair bit of rain in London this is really puzzling.
I do not have mudguards on my bike because I never use it in the rain.

I can't beat Dave's classic. I won't even try. It's too good. Classic genius Dave. I do notice she could use a rear fender so the tire stops throwing water on her back.

Exzim, I am parked in the same place as yesterdays, and lots of other pictures.
But this one is looking towards the junction of Upper Richmond Road and Putney High Street. I park here a lot for health reasons.

No idea on the street today John, unless maybe uphill from the bridge. Brave woman to ride in that traffic though.

I spent many hours with Albert discussing the "Mind wandering". I learnt a lot.

When two objects---one harder than the other---attempt to occupy the same space simultaneously, it is highly probable that the softer of the two will undergo a most interesting deformation. This is aptly described by the seventh corollary to Einstein's Theory of Relativity, titled "As Curvature Approaches Infinity, the Mind Wanders."
