Ken, every plane that lands at Heathrow from the east passes over my house at 2,000 feet. A large number of planes pass over London at high altitude travelling in various directions. These are the ones that that leave con trails. Depending on the weather the amount of con trails visible range from zero to a lot. I have never counted them so I have to be vague on how many are to be seen.
