The two large gauges in the centre go up to 20,000 pound per square inch.
That is a frightening lot of pressure.
It is overwhelming the amount of valves and gauges on the sub.
On every wall, in every space, on the ceiling.
Fascinating.

I have a friend who is a U boat nerd, he claims even during the war the german subs were vastly superior (and simpler) to ours. I must admit, this looks like they just kept adding stuff as each problem was encountered
