Asgill beech is not well.

I am not sure if it is dead, or just needing drastic treatment to stay alive.
I have passed this tree many times over the last 50 odd years.
Guess I will never see its replacement.

I think it was my fault. I carved my initials in that tree in 1962, must be near the top by now.
