No John, had it for a long time. The largest percentage of my photos are with the kit lens, 18-55 because it is small and lightweight. Next I use most the 70-200 for longer shots. This lens is really good, but it is very big and heavy. Use it mainly when I alone am taking photos, it is way too big for BEC to handle.
