This photo is a close up of the inside of a 90 year old watch. The golden and rust hued sheen is a result of the lighting; the watch itself is silver. I was intriqued by the circular gears and ovals of this perspective - a symbol to me of cyclic time - the time of myth, karma, reoccurrence, the seasons, and birth and death. The face of the watch, of course, measures the modern concept of linear time. i think the inside of the watch says more about time.
