In our trip through Thailand, we only managed to stay in Bangkok for a couple days. Admittedly, we were 'shoppers' instead of tourists, spending a fair amount of time in the Bangkok markets. Bangkok is an interesting city. Like many aging international cities, there is a clashing of historic sites with modern architecture. Bangkok is easy to get around though it seems to take much longer to get from point A to B than the maps would otherwise indicate.
