You are right Dave, it's what it seems to be, a big, sweet and traditional "Catalan" cookie. The shopwindow also makes reference to another cookie variety "Coca de Llardons" loaded of "chicharron" in Spanish (US also cracklings) the crisp fatty skin of roast pork.
