Just the steeple remains exposed of the sand covered church near Skagen

Denmark

This is just the steeple, the main church building is under sand
(abandoned in 1795 after years of fighting encroaching sand dunes)

That is such an interesting shape for a church. I wonder if the clergy lived in the upper stories.
