Of the wildlife venues I have visited in SW Florida, Lovers Key State Park is one of my favorites. The park is very accommodating to a wide range of interests with wildlife photography mine. While I have dedicated this photo gallery to the Florida State Park itself, the vast majority of photographs taken within the boundaries of the 1616 acre preserve on the Gulf of Mexico are available to view in other subject specific galleries. Each visit of nearly 100 I've made to Lovers Key has offered a memorable experience with it often reinforced through photography. The human element is here as well as I meet world travelers and locals alike. Two of my photographs taken at Lovers Key have been published in Friends of Lovers Key State Park quarterly newsletters. I hope you find interest in something that will lead you to this wonderful place. Most recent images are at the end of the gallery.
