My friends on PC all use Adobe Audition (Cool Edit).

Are you sure you are using stereo microphone?

Mine isn't so it can only record on on track.

Doesn't matter which recording mode you set in the software.

I have a question, I only have a pc, I could not find any good audio software like GarageBand for Mac. Do you have some suggestion? Another question is when I try ti record in pc, the result is very weird. The sound curve is lean to one side, I mean it seem that I only monotrack, but I actually use stereo mode. So I need to add a sound card instead of the embedded one, or should I change some pc configuration? Thanks!
