John- for real? You used to catch those little crabs at Dan-Shui? Me too, how funny. I remember going to elementary school in Taiwan, we used to clean the sewers next to our classroom and dump the sud in the planters. We picked out these tiny escargot or shellfish from the mud. That was fun.

John, thanks for visiting my gallery and the comment, I appreciate it! Ok, you should change your encoding to Unicode; Big-5 and Western won't get a correct encoding. I used both Chinese and English characters in the text therefore 'Unicode'. It's a hassel to input Chinese punctuation marks on an English Window OS, so I switched back and forth.

Neiwan- you better hurry, you just might catch the last of it because they're tearing the old train station to make new. I heard the Township is rebuilding many parts of the old street, luckily I visited there just before they started the new project. It might be too late because some relatives went there last month and they told me several shops are closing down for the time being. 44 months is the duration of construction.
