Stokesay Castle February 2012

Stokesay Castle is one of the finest fortified manor houses in England. It was built in the 1280s by the wealthy wool merchant, Laurence of Ludlow. It provided the venue for a pbase mini-meet. True to form we arrived in pouring rain (though it did brighten up later).
