Taken at dawn, this is a view of the massive Liathach mountain from the Annat salt marshes at the eastern extent of Upper Loch Torridon. The first rays of sunlight of the day give a subtle red/pink hue to the eastern slopes of the Liathach peaks. The village of Torridon can be seen at the foot of the mountain. A 0.6 ND grad filter was used to balance exposure with a further 0.6 ND filter to lengthen exposure time and smooth out ripples in the pools in the foreground.
