Hi, Jon. I wonder if the picture you took of me turned out. I was sitting on a bench in front of what I believe was a costume shop. I was wearing a purple and gold sari-type outfit and a purple coin belt. Do you think you could post it, or maybe email it to me? I would really love you forever for it.

Did I take a picture of you? If so, give me a description I can use to find it. If the shot turned out I would be more than happy to post it for you.

It should also be noted that even if I pointed a camera at you a picture may not have been taken. There are plenty of times when I won't take a picture. Usually for technical reasons (theres a lot going on in the camera that I view/adjust when pointing it) or at times because I don't see a picture I wish to take. Every shutter click translates into money invested into expensive equipment.

yes, but really? every single photography shows only the same people's pics over and over. whatever.

Hi Guest, I generally take hundreds of pictures each day at events like this. Not all turn out for various reasons. Poor lighting, poses, background activity, inappropriate gestures and far too many other reasons to list here. In addition to that the amount of time required to process each image for posting adds up. The cost of hosting pictures, photographic equipment and again time, run into the thousands of dollars on a annual basis. So no, not every picture we take gets posted. These shots are also taken at a public faire and things just don't work out all the time. If any of these shots were taken in our studio every shot would be perfect. But then they wouldn't be free either. Studio work generally starts at $500 per day and can quickly move up to $1,000 a day.

We generally try to post more pictures of the "usual cronies" because in the end they are the ones who end up supporting places like this and our ability to shoot so often at events such as Ren Faires.

Having said all that, you are more than welcome to let me know what you look like, when I took a picture of you and where you were when the picture was taken. I can then look through the libraries to see if the picture turned out and post it. If you don't know who I am, you can always ask most of the "usual cronies" where I'm at on any given day and they would probably be more than happy to point me out so you can ask about a picture etc.

Wish you'd post all your pics, not just a few of the usual cronies. Please don't discriminate, because some people would appreciate that if you take their pics, maybe they should have the right to see them. Just sayin'.
