LITTLE THEATERS

Welcome to the theaters, little stages. (Their images are below.) The mixed-media sculptures, says Art Registry of D.C., are "enigmatic and address the formal elements of art: Line, color and form." They're theatrical. Architectural. Some are abstract. Many are figurative. Many are in boxes. Some are freestanding sculptures.
Everything's for sale except works (noted) that have found good homes in private collections in the U.S., Australia, Japan, Germany and France. Prices begin at $300. INQUIRIES: jfordh@earthlink.net

J. Ford -- It was so fun hanging out with you the other night at the DC Strokes anniversary event. Your work is amazing.

I think my favorite so far is World War II at home. Just saw "Hair" again and realized how little I allow myself to be affected by the fact that we're in a war (or two) now and how sad I am that I'm not more focussed on that.

ok. so now i have to chose another favorite(s)! so, in addition to the others on my fav list, are: 'just a natural as real snow' (for all the years of helping nana whip ivory snow into fake snow for her christmas tree) & 'inlaid linoleum' (just b/c).
they are all so very good, and i couldn't be more proud of ya!

Wonderful. I sense the narrative possibilities and in particular I love the cowboy/Marlboro man on page 1 as well as the Mondrian-like abstract composition on page 5, middle row, Rightmost image.
