Barcelona's history dates to Roman Barcino and before. But anyone who visits Barcelona can not help but notice that it is a young, vibrant city which wraps itself around its heritage while living for today.

Whether you walk the narrow Gotic alleys or stroll along the grand vias, you can not help but develop a strong feeling for Barcelona, it's history and museums, it's culture and people, the food, and the feeling which fills all who ply the streets. Above all things, Barcelona is about the people you encounter on the street.

Hopefully these images impart some of what Barcelona looks and feels like. We ourselves have fond memories of four wonderful days spent soaking in the culture ( and the wine ).
