Wow. what a blast from the past! really takes me back to even earlier than what I remembered of the "Le Mans" period of the Hamptons nitelife. Really set the standard back then. I worked at Hampton's Newspaper Magazine and was in tune with everything but Stan, Butch & Co. were the center. Good Times. Le Mans sold, now a furniture store or something, Everything ends tho, John & Lucia broke up after what must have been 15 years together, Lucia passed away due to cancer, I did see Butch being interviewed on a true crime TV program about some audacious murder that happened around Cocoa Beach, so he was doing well until the late 90's. Don't know what came of Stan but Life is too short and unpredictable, enjoy it while you can...

I was a young designer and worked for Stan Learner on Lemans while still a teenager. I became the light man and program director in the first season the club opened because we couldn't find anyone who could run the lights! He was an awesome guy. He loved my idea on Fourth of July to put gels of red white and blue on the floor strobes and set them off after blowing fog! I will never forget him....
