Mt Maisan (Mar 05)

Mt Maisan comprises two peaks resembling the ears of a horse, which explains the name Maisan meaning "Horse Ears Mountain". The Tapsa Temple is located at the foot of the mountain, and is one of the most unusual Buddhist temples in Korea. It was built by the hermit monk Yi Kap-yong, and contains an amazing collection of stone pagodas, some of which are 30 feet high, and all were skillfully built without mortar.
