The Shou-zhen Temple at the end of the forest trail. It is a Taoist temple and is the biggest in the area. According to local folklore, Brahmid moths (¿ÝÇò»j¼y¶ê) visit the temple every year, in the week before, to usher in the birthday of the main Taoist deity of the temple, Suan-tian-shang-di (ÐþÌìÉϵÛ), on the 3rd day of the 3rd lunar month. The moths have done this for almost 30 years and the locals named them "sacred butterflies". The truth may be that it happens to be the mating season of the Brahmid moths and they are attracted to the temple by the smoke and scent of the burning incense.
