Jax's Shortcut!

I got to see parts of MD yesterday that I had never seen before!
Jax's shortcut was more like an adventure!
We were to the point that we were going to let buG pick the next turn!
Thank God, I stopped a very nice man who pointed us in the right direction (after he made fun of Jax by giving her a thumbs up after hearing she was the one who got us lost).
Even then, Jax decided she wanted to still take one more wrong turn!

Kate - I have travelled along most of the back lanes in my area since doing the Photo-a-Day thing and this is how I found this sign. I actually took the straight-on route here which is not included on the signpost and of course it was a dead-end!! Glad you liked the sign - I may get found out digging it up and taking it to the Post Office though ;-)

Can't commit on Ray's page - so Ray - I LOVE the image you shared......it's called LIFE to me......I'd love to have that sign you found in my living room!!!!!!!!

Yep, everything said about me is true!!!! Well, JAX - I'm game if you are! Jen this picture gives me flashbacks as to why I am the U Turn Queen - I have beautiful memories of traveling through Maryland and PA countryside and wanting to take every back road I saw. I didn't want to miss out on anything new and different! Still love to discover! The "what is beyond" has always run through my veins....wish I could have been on your trip this weekend!

Whatever you do, don't let Jax and Kate in the same car.
We'd have to pick them up in Alaska or something!
(Thank goodness Kate has a sense of humor about this subject.
I call her the "U Turn Queen." However, we often have a lot of fun that we would have otherwise missed if we had taken the "right" turn! Sometimes "wrong" turns out to be "right")
