If you ever make it to Moab, UT ("gateway" to both Arches NP and Canyonlands NP), don't miss the drive along Hwy 128! Particularly in late afternoon light, the scenery along the highway which follows the Colorado River is spectacular! This panorama was taken very near Fisher Towers.
