Tiger-Shark:
One day, I was diving alone doing photos, as usual as I did 100's of times, in one of my favourite spots of Ras Um Sid, when, an unusual strong current took me to the open seas, on the edge of the reef, where the diving tourist boats were waiting for their customers. It was the end of the dive, and time of going back to land, as not much air left on the tank. As it was quite a swim back, I climbed to 1 of the boat's dive platforms for some rest, and to put the covers on the cameras lens...
I then headed back to the stairs, very near the surface, using the reminding air, as easier to fight the flow. Suddenly, I felt a vibration just behind myself, and when I looked this was the picture I saw, just in front of my face: A huge Tiger-Shark, with the mouth wide open, exactly like this frame! I immediately grabbed my Nikonos V, with the 15mm UW lens on, but unfortunately, with the cap on.
Immediately, in seconds, the Shark was gone, and I missed the photo! I could not even believe myself!
10 years later, while at home, I red that 3 tourists have been eaten by a 3m Tiger-Shark in exactly the same place......
