Now, it's starting to get very busy and interesting!
Air Seychelles only had this B-757 for 2 years, and used it mainly on the new routes of MAD/Nairobi/SEY and also SEZ/Singapore
Going to the Seychelles for the 3rt time for the Film Festival, but also to do more photos for more and more magazine and newspapers reporting on the Seychelles, starting to be very much in fashion...
I was going with my gf of the moment, but she could not get a ticket and joined me 2 days later on BA...
Boarded in Madrid, at night and when we were flying near Egypt the CAT turbulence started. the Captain, who was resting in business rushed to the cockpit... And he called me to visit. It was my 1st time on a B-757/767 (exactely the same). The Captain was a very nice older English Gentleman, we had a very nice and long chat. He said: "A bit of a turbulence, but no big problem..." I replied, "Yes, no problem that is why just when it started you come rushing to the cockpit". He gave a big laugh and said "Well, I can see you know too much, and I cannot fool you..."
And so, we had quite big and continuous shacking for over 5 hours, till Nairobi...
In fact, the B-757 was not at all similar to its sister B-767, and quite hard on turbulence, a bit more like the B737/200 series...
