Encourage by the 'success' of my previous flights, I finally decided to take a huge step and cross the "Big Pond"- The dreaded Atlantic Ocean, so feared both in the waters and in the airs...
In fact, the many times I did it with TAP they were all great. And the couple of times I did with Continental, always a disgrace! I wonder why? Cannot be just coincidence...
Anyway, I was going to attend a Cinema Workshop in Maine, and also decided to visit my Sister in Law, doing her PhD in Boston at the time.
A fabulous flight, and even better, the 1st landing I did without even feeling the weels touching the ground!
It was a great Captain, dead very prematurly, Joao Solano de Almeida, Son of the famous Pilot and Hero of Goa, and also Friend to my Father!
