Dear Vern,
So sorry to have to contradict you: The Fuji S5Pro (the last one in the series) was based on the Nikon D200, but with Fuji's last CCD Sensor.
The S2Pro I used, and still own (this photo was from last year) was a camera build around the Nikon F80 (I also use for film), or indeed a D70, but with Fuji's own sensor, million times better then the Nikon one, made by Sony!
For some time, Nikon was considering adopting the Fuji sensor as they main one, but unfortunately, turned instead again for the Sony CMOS, the 1st were just horrendous...
And Fuji moved away from Nikon, which also was very very unfortunate!
We all lost...
Politics...

Beautiful work! I always thought the D200 was remarkable for sharpness and wonderful colors! True also of the FinePix S2 Pro, based on the D200. The rich colors here back up my view! The CCD sensor had a lot going for it!
