I wanted to try this lens, unfortunatly is too heavy and cumbersome to be used without tripod or monopod....

Everyone I have talked to loves this lens but, as I do not like lugging around a tripod, I have not been able to bring myself to get one. Do you use it much? this is a beautiful little robin, by the way!
