Met II Power and Speed vs Engine RPM, for both stock and air box mod motor, with 1 RUN USING FIXED GEARING

This is a Met II tested before and after intake mods and jetting. There are 2 runs measured before and after using the stock variator, AND 1 run measured with the variator BLOCKED so the drive train has a fixed gearing. The fixed gearing is in BLACK on the curves and shows the best power range for this motor is between 6250 and 7500rpm. Given this is the target rpm range for power, then the variator is best set to keep the motor close to the rpm range during most running. Heavier rollers will move the variator rpms lower, and lighter rollers will move the rpms higher. If the rollers are too light, then top gearing will not be reached and the upper right will not show the straight line at high revs (top right in upper graph).
