One of my passions is antique or classic vehicles (stock, custom, modified...). While I'm a huge fan of and greatly prefer Ford products (Ford, Lincoln, Mercury), I appreciate ALL old American vehicles! Found in this gallery are photos I've taken at various local shows. While I still take photos of an entire vehicle, I now more try to find unique angles or perspectives to capture smaller details. Back in the day I know there were people who were proud of their creative contributions to the car designs, whether that be a tail fin, body badges/decals, air intakes or angled body lines; my goal is to find these attributes that make the cars special and share them with you.

One thing I must note is that these are far from studio quality photos. The conditions of these shows offer unique challenges to taking the best photos I can (vehicle placement, backgrounds, people wandering around enjoying the cars). The greatest issue though is lighting - these cars are normally under the sun which offers intense bright areas as well as deep shadows (within the same view of a small part). While I would LOVE to photograph many of these vehicles under controlled studio conditions, for now I take what I can get!
