This is a Svalbard Reindeer on Edgeøya Island. They are somewhat smaller than Caribou elsewhere.

This was picked as "Best Photo of the Voyage" from those that people submitted for inclusion on the DVD that was provided to us at the end of the trip. This was a very difficult shot to get while bouncing around on the zodiac.
