Where Rock-N-Roll was born.
Sign from the Sun Studio in Memphis.
The first rock-and-roll single, Jackie Brenston and his Delta Cats' "Rocket 88" was recorded there in 1951 with song composer Ike Turner on keyboards.
Later the Sun Studio was used by future music giants Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis, B.B. King, Howlin' Wolf and many more.
