We're taught that the odds of a coin toss are 50-50, heads or tales. But this isn't precisely the case. The odds of a 2 Pence coin landing on its edge have been estimated at 1 in 2,000 or less probable. But when you think of all of the people "flipping the coin" every day around the world, the total number of side landings must be quite high. Next time you aren't sure about a decision, try flipping a coin. The outcomes can be strange and wonderful.
